LFL is deeply rooted in building capacity of local communities and best positioned to problem solve crises affecting poor and vulnerable people, in remote locations. We work to address social, cultural and ecological contexts by reinforcing community long-term participation for a holistic response to public health situations.

Some of the key areas where we have done work with impact include child immunization, infection prevention and control, reproductive health for women and adolescents, family planning, maternal, newborn and child health, sexuality education, intrapartum care, gender based violence among others.
